All pesticide products are highly regulated at all levels of government.

DO I HAVE TO LEAVE MY HOME OR BUSINESS AT THE TIME OF TREATMENT?

You may not have to leave your house, depending on the type of program. If we are conducting interior applications, we ask that you leave for a few hours. Infants, seniors, and people with asthma or high sensitivities may choose to leave for longer periods. Our technicians will inform you of special instructions, or you can call our office anytime with your questions.

WE JUST HAD OUR HOME OR BUSINESS TREATED AND THERE’S STILL PEST SOME ACTIVITY. NOW WHAT?

Depending on the program and your structure, control is not always immediate. Our products have residuals and continue to work for long periods. This residual reduces the pest population. The products do their best work in the evenings or on cooler days. On hot and warm fall days, activity around your home may be abundant. As evening approaches and insects seek out places to hide, the product then does its best work. A simple test to show the products effectiveness would be to conduct an exterior inspection after a high activity day. Look for dead insects around the base of your home or near the foundation.

MY DOG OR CAT HAS INFESTED THE HOUSE WITH FLEAS. DO I NEED PEST CONTROL SERVICE?

First consult your veterinarian about effective flea treatment and control for your pet. This will help treat your pet's current situations and help prevent future flea infestations. Next, since flea eggs dropped from your pet's fur, fleas have made themselves at home in your carpets and furniture. You need professional intervention to break their fast-growing reproductive cycle, which takes as little as 2 weeks. Advance Pest Control Services finds all the crevices where flea larvae prefer to hide before they turn into adult fleas that start the problem all over again.

CAN I WASH MY WINDOWS AFTER A TREATMENT?

Exterior windows can be cleaned anytime after application. For interior windows it is recommended to avoid cleaning for 2-3 weeks.

WHAT PAYMENT OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE?

We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Cheque as form of payment.

DOES ADVANCE PEST CONTROL SERVICES GUARANTEE THEIR WORK?

All work is guaranteed for 6 months excluding Bed Bug, Country and Cottage programs. Cottage and Country programs are guaranteed year-round if you are signed up for both applications per year. Single applications for Country or Cottage programs are guaranteed for 3 months.

HOW DO YOU QUALIFY FOR THE BED BUG GUARANTEE?

Only fully-detached homes are eligible for a 3-month guarantee if canine detection and treatments have been performed by Advance Pest Control Services. Unfortunately, apartments, townhomes, condominiums, and semi-detached homes are not eligible for the guarantee due to the possible re-introduction from adjoining apartments/homes. Treatments may include multiple applications and the purchase of mattress and box spring encasements if recommended by Advance Pest Control Services. All recommendations from Advance Pest Control Services must be followed by the customer in order to validate this 3-month warranty.
